Andover drills two holes to 1,040 ft at East Tintic

2009-11-12 10:37 ET - News Release

Mr. Gordon Blankstein reports

EAST TINTIC DRILL UPDATE, UTAH, USA

Andover Ventures Inc. has completed phase I of the first two holes in the 2009 drill program being drilled by American Drilling Corp. of Spokane, Wash., on Chief Consolidated Mining's Burgin extension deposit.

The Ingersoll Rand TH-75 RC drill has completed hole No. 1 and hole No. 2 to the depth of 1,040 feet and has set four-inch casing in each of the holes. The Atlas Copco CS-14 core drill is now on hole No. 1 and is core drilling (phase II) to the depth of approximately 1,800 feet. The Atlas Copco CS-14 core drill will move to hole No. 2 upon completing the core drilling on hole No. 1.

The drill program will be used to confirm previous data from the 105 holes of drilling at the Burgin extension deposit completed by Kennecott Resources, Sunshine Mining Company and Chief. This drilling is planned to provide sufficient data to compile an NI 43-101-compliant resource calculation. Andover's chief operating officer, David Lajack, will manage the drill program.
