Star Diamond Corporation is a Canada-based company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral properties. It also holds a 100% interest in the Buffalo Hills Diamond Project, located approximately 400 kilometers northwest of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The property covers a total of 21 mineral leases covering an area of approximately 4,800 hectares (ha).

You will likely see that the negotiations with Newmont on either A. the 2010 budget ( which can't amount to many $$) or B. rebalancing the Star kimberlite ( finally !) are keys to when the updated prefeas. is released. Of course, the company will never admit that but it is a very important piece of the pie since the IRR for that should be quite improved compared to the IRR for the Star alone. Key news releases on a corporate level always go well together with technical reports that will propel the stock up. Just the way the game is played.
