RE: More Media on Gold Mining in NS...

RE: More Media on Gold Mining in NS...I see this retarded theory of a central milling facility for the province is being espoused AGAIN! I can not understand for the life of me how people with supposedly higher education can keep pushing this idea. The only way this is feasible is if you have a high grade deposit with low production rates and distances are less than 100 Km. Trucking 1 to 1.5 g/t ore any distance, i.e.+10 km is just not economic and I would love to have someone show their business case that it is.

This didn't work for Seabright/Westminer in the 80's when fuel was cheap and it sure isn't going to work now with diesel at $1/liter.

Sorry for the rant, but it ticks me off to no end to see people spout garbage to the media like this because most readers will take it as gospel and think it's a great idea.

I'll crawl back in my cave and attack the next passer by now.

Cheers
Ken
