I only wish I did know on how the ratio of LFD to VST might play out in the merger. I currently hold a ratio of about 80 % VST to 20 % LFD but with no sound logic to back this ratio up. I know of other very experienced investors who have gone with 50/50% split. As with other Kurdistan plays I think VST will go on the side of caution with their 51 101 estimate and hope to discover more. LFD is a dark horse? There are known oil reserves on their block which de-risk VST but also unknown reserves. Only the LFD / VST management really know the answers and they are not going to tell you and me. Insider buying seems to favour LFD and yet NIKO / KRG stakeholder approval logic seems to favour VST. Who knows.
I do know that if the politics are resolved and VST make a big discovery then we are invested in a life changing stock. If the politics are not resolved or VST do not make a big discovery then VST will be worth next to
.
I am happy to take that risk.
Good luck.
