PICKLE CROW

PICKLE CROW

For anyone that might be interested:
.
the following is an extract from the v.tnm bullboard.
.......................................

Most junior exploration companies start out with high hopes of discovering a  deposit that could result in a mine. Not so with PC Gold (T.PKL) which is not only updating the existing deposit of  the past-producing
(1.45 M oz @ 16.1 g/t Au) Pickle Crow Mine, but is also seeking extensions to the existing high grade veins ……as well as  finding new deposits.

.

“PC Gold’s vision….is to define sufficient mineralization from surface to 2 kilometres depth within a radius of 500 metres of the historic #1 shaft, to possibly allow for modern high capacity extraction & processing similar to that employed  at Goldcorp’s 4,000 tpd/~225,000 oz/year Musselwhite Mine in similar geology further north.” (reference handout material March 2008 PDAC)

.

Goldcorp’s Musselwhite Mine is about 140 km north of Pickle Lake.

………………………

The Pickle Lake Greenstone Belt includes four past producing mines:

[1] Pickle Crow (1,450,000 ounces grading 16.1 grams per tonne gold),

[2] Central Patricia (650,000 ounces grading 12.0 grams per tonne gold),

[3] Golden Patricia (450,000 ounces grading 19.9 grams per tonne gold) and

[4] Dona Lake (200,000 ounces grading 8.6 grams per tonne gold).

.

[reference Manicouagan’s news release September 24, 2009)

…………….

Also present in this area is the Thierry Cu, Ni Mine. The main Thierry ore deposit extends over 2,000 meters long and continues to a depth of over three kilometers.

.

Looks like we are in elephant country…..better watch where you step!!!!
