There are no news because things seem to be going the wrong way.

Ossur is in an tight financial situation and they will most probably be much less aggressive in releasing the new power knee since this requires money to make a successful launch.

Ottobock already had a gait neurostimulation device (ActiGait).  I have a feeling that they will not rush the neurostep product since they already control that market and will porbably want to make some profits with the ActiGait before replacing it with the better Neurostep.

Anyways these are more feelings than something that these 3 companies have published and nobody knows really why the delays and when things will start moving.  But if we put all the details together and also look at the SP I think that my above assumptions are correct.

It is sad.  Victhom lost control of 2 really cool technologies and is now at the mercy of the 2 giants controlling that market.  And to top everything they are tight on cash.

At this point, things seem to be difficult and the SP reflects that.  Hopefully they will get a financing and the full release of the power knee and Neurostep mid to late 2010.  This could make things turn around.
