Transparency International

Transparency InternationalTransparency International, (Check the Web site) has listed its 2009 list of the most corrupt nations in which to do business.

List has 180 entries.

Iraq is tied at 176 with Sudan for 176.

178 Myanmar
179 Afghanistan
180 Somalia

The WZR well is difficult but progressing.

My worry is with the leases declared illegal by the central government, oil payments seized by the central government, DNO with police investigations on corruption, Galbriath story on possible corruption, is this the start of the inevitable. The HOC and Genel deal collapses as no one can get paid.

If poor old WZR hits big with their very large honorable program how many of these corrupt hands will be out to steal our shareholders treasure.

What will be left for us all?

Kurdiatan is a bit of an oasis from all this but it is still in Iraq!

Elections coming up and that is now showing problems which is par for this area. I am told the elections whatever happens will not make the problem any easier for the KRG.

Wish I new the answers to these unresolved problems as it is hanging ominously over all the KRG companies that have put so much effort into this troubled area.

Do we risk all now hoping for hope it will all go in our favor later?
