You seem to think you know whats going on behind closed doors. I don't think anybody on this board really knows anything including me. So there is no way you can be certain the Chinese will not make a counter offer.
If the Russians can bribe the Mongolians nothing is stopping the Chinese from doing the same.

The curious thing is that this stock was trending up for the last week before the takeover. I think some people knew well in advance this deal was coming.

Just my 2 cents and probably worth less than that
