The Company owns over 221 hotels with approximately 37,000 rooms or suites located in over 36 states, in the District of Columbia, Ontario, Canada and San Juan, Puerto Rico. It owns approximately 752 service-oriented retail properties with over 13.3 million square feet located in approximately 42 states. The Company’s net lease portfolio is occupied by over 175 tenants, which is operating approximately 137 brands in over 21 industries. The Company's net lease portfolio is leased to tenants that include travel centers, quick service and casual dining restaurants, movie theaters, health and fitness centers, grocery stores, automotive parts and services and other businesses in service-oriented and necessity-based industries.

RE: Long or Get Outgood post longhaul.  I also believe the co-founders are committed.  Good to see they're not always making decisions on how they think the market will react - sometimes good decisions are not very popular ones, but often these decisions are made for the benefit of the company long term.
To be fair, there probably is some self-interest at stake here as well - mgmt cancels stock options with a high exercise price and will probably load up with options at a much lower exercise price in the high $1 or low $2 range.  
If in fact mgmt is honest and some of these cancelled options will eventually be provided to new employees, that to me means Sandvine is expecting to hire more employees in the short term.  Who knows how many and what types of positions may be available...
