Ihave finally decided to come clean after all these years. This is theunadulterated truth as to why I have been bashing PLE for over 3 years.
It all started in February 2006 when I first found and registered at stockhouse. I was a very green
investor and didn't know the first thing about the
stock market. I didn't know
market order from limit order. I didn't know support from resistance. All I knew was that I wanted to make money.
That day, I went onto the main stockhouse page, back when paid stockhouse users had "PRO" and "
red 
"icons beside their alias. I couldn't help but notice a poster named"Herbacious" having such a huge following and consistently being listedas the most viewed poster on stockhouse. In my naive foolishness, Ibegan to follow his posts as gospel. Coincidentally, this was the exactsame time he began to heavily promote Plexmar as "the next big thing".I began buying all the
stocks he recommended. I went "all in" on 2
stocks, in particular: Plexmar and Afri-Can Marine.
Iput all the money I made from my **coughs** years of hard work intothese 2 stocks. I was too lazy to do my own due diligence. I boughtblindly.
The funny thing was that I was actually making
money.I now realize that I had ample time to sell and take profits, but I wastoo greedy to even consider doing this. So I continued to buy with thebelief that all penny
stocks eventually become hundred dollar
stocks.
Yes, I will now admit that I was the one who bought Plexmar at $1.27!
Thenit all came crashing down in the fall. Suddenly I was in the red oneverything. Projects were halted, ships took longer to arrive, etc. Iwas furious, sad, dismayed all at the same time. Almost all my moneywas lost. I was a bagholder. If things couldn't get any worse, aroundthe same time, the landlord of my trailer park told us we had to getout and find a new place because some developers bought the land.Because I went "all in", I was strapped for cash and had no choice butto sell all my
shares.I sold my Plexmar and Afri-Can shares for a fraction of what I had paidfor them. I ended up squatting all around the city. As fate would haveit, it was at these squatting locations where I met 2 people who hadthe exact same thing happen to them; their names were "beachman" and"goldboom".
With nothing but time on our hands, beachman,goldboom, and I planned on avenging our stupidity by becoming basherson stockhouse. We were too proud to take it as a"life lesson learned".
Insteadof taking the onus on ourselves for our investment decisions, we vowedto haunt Herbacious by rating all of his posts as "1" to get even.
Wewould also poke fun at other Plexmar shareholders by calling them"bagholders" and "fools" for buying, when, truth be told, we were onlydeflecting the embarrassment of our own actions (or non-actions) ontoinnocent bystanders. When we insulted the
company and you folks, we really were, subconsciously, re-directing our own self-loathing.
Asyou can imagine, years and years of this destructive behaviour hastaken it's toll on all three of us. When we've done what we've done foras long as we have done it, there was bound to be some psychologicaldamage incurred. One of the trauma's we now suffer is "
autopilot-basher-itis",so there is no guarantee that we won't continue to bash Plexmar(andAfri-Can) just out of habit. Another disorder picked up, as youprobably guessed, was "
multiple personality disorder".When I mentioned earlier that I met "beachman" and "goldboom" at thosesquatting locations, I lied! I am "beachman" and "goldboom". But thenagain... you probably already figured that out a long time ago, right?
All I can ask is that you please forgive me and do me a huge favor...
