RE: institutional holdings - Reuters

RE: institutional holdings - Reuters

The reasons you list for selling are definately ones we are all aware of and do seem like good reasons for most stocks. This stock, to me anyway, is not a sell based simply on

1)    The emerging market it's in
2)    Potential for share price explosion
3)    Institutions adding to their holdings
4)    3 big players putting in millions
5)    Current share price is low based on all of the above

Either way, the pros and cons have been bled to death on here, thats not what my point is. My point is that the selling seems to be someone with a large holding dumping every time there is a large buy order. It was pointed out a few weeks ago about an order type that can sit there and only activates when a price is hit. This seems to be what is happening but that takes a huge amount of shares to be able to do an order like that (sorry the name skips my mind). So, it doesn't seem to be retail selling, it's larger than that.

Thats what my question of why / who is about.

For the record, I am not selling a penny of this thing right now. There was a huge amount of "smart" money just put into this stock, the famous 3 plus 2 institutions. Why the heck would I sell now. These people know more than I about whats going on. These guys don't pump in millions without getting a lot more information than what we are privey to. Like it or not, fair or not, thats how it works.
