World's quickest "potential" takeover attempt.....may just be Galway!
It's interesting to watch the musing of investors on this board, but if you put the pieces together...This could be a very short and lucrative ride!
This formation runs for well over 3 kms from Greystar's Angostura all the way to Ventana's La Bodega...It's huge! If the first few holes drilled by Galway pull solid grade over decent intercepts...Galway is going to be bought out in a heartbeat IMO.
The Pie de Gallo concession seems to be located a good 400-500 meters from Ventana's border within GWY's property(see map)...If they hit, there is an excellent chance that the property has consistent minerization through to where Ventana is drilling (approximately 700-800 meters away..:)...and if that's the case, Galway has as much as 5 million ozs right out of the gate...Remember, this structure will have already run for appromiately 3 km...to think there is continuity to GWY's drilling is not a huge stretch; especially considering the historic workings at Pie de Gallo.
Ventana has suggested that grades improve as drilling move towards Galway's property....these high grades ozs will be worth a mint!

Mark my words..The day Galway releases its Pie de Gallo results...(
if positve) the gold market, particularily Columbian gold players, are more than likely to go nuts, as the buyer for Ventana (as has been suggested and on hold till they have ownership resolution) will snap up GWY in a heartbeat before it's share price gets out of hand...With a market cap of under $140 million we're still chump change for the big boys...GWY, GSL and possibly VEN on the block..(VEN may take some time due to its ownership issues)..One big consolidation!
Gotta be thankful we have that poison pill in place as the whole region could turn into one heck of a bidding war for majors looking to replenish high quality ozs.

P.S. I would expect the fun to begin at the perfect time too...mid-late Jaunary...When the "January Effect" and the price of gold push the junior miners sky high! :)
