RE: Nickel pricesNice article but I think highly unrealistic. Right now nickel is selling for $15,627 per metric tonne [current average between bid & ask at the LME and there are over 142,000 metric tonnes of the stuff. Until that over-supply starts to drop we will not be saying anything remotely close to $20,000 per metric tonne which is north of $9.00 per pound. The LME nickel supply is now growing at a pretty fast rate and the use of nickel has not begin to put a dent in it.
