RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Conference call

RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Conference callThats true Thudwall, thanks for pointing that out. I think I heard it right, but Ron also said that RealD was working on their own solution? Did that mean they were trying to come up with an alternative to Sensio / IDC? Is it a pricing thing or a negotiating thing maybe.

This from the Nr Big_T1 linked is what I was hoping to read. It almost appears that Sensio was trying to hook up to the IDC train when in fact it appears they are the ones driving now. Hind sight is a great thing but I wonder if Sensio would take that back if they could.

From the NR.......

"The Agreement provides exclusive rights to IDC for the worldwide digital cinema market, subject to meeting certain conditions agreed to between the two companies. Namely, SENSIO will get a fixed royalty per theater, as an intellectual property license, for the integration of its SENSIO®3D cinema decoding technology. The Agreement also allows IDC to use the SENSIO®3D technology in its own products and to sublicense the technology to qualified third party manufacturers. The SENSIO®3D technology has already been launched internationally by IDC as part of their SuperFlex Pro Cinema product line and is currently undergoing trials in Europe and Asia."
