Thanks for the kind words.   I try to give what I perceive as the straight scoop with a little humor/scorn/poetry as it seems to be justified;  and sometimes what I perceive  as good leads for others to do DD if interested, put never a pump.  I've followed Doug Casey for about 12 years and find company evaluation by his P system very useful with the first and most important being People, closely followed by Property and Phinancing.  No one is right all of the time, but Casey is very good.  Other well managed companies I like besides ALS, ATC and SMD are VGQ and BTC. 
 
With respect to actually keeping the leagacy boys at a lower level, I do not think it would work too well because of damaged egos and possible resentment.  However, all things being equal,  from the mine manager level down, it would probably be a good idea to try to hold on to the existing workforce, even though they may currently be somewhat demoralized.  The hands on people usually have common sense and are glad to have a way to earn a living.   I think they would try hard to make a go of things with the new MGT, plus they should already be trained for the job.   As I said, it should be an interesting time.  GLTA
