It's not the same thing. Intel was not a game changer. Intel only became a dominant player because IBM could save a few dollars by using the crippled 8088 processor instead of the Motorola 68000 which is what they should have used in the original IBM PC. It was just dumb luck that Intel got the contract. There were far better processors out there at the time.
MDG on the other hand, if the process works, is a game changer because it will revolutionize the way vaccines are produced. The old vaccine manufacturing technology will die off and will be replaced by MDG licensed technology.
It is much like when the transistor radio was first introduced. It was cheaper, consumed less power, and was portable. The tube radio manufacturers eventually died out or had to change to the newer technology in order to survive. That is what you call a game changer or disruptive technology.
