I guess if you are going to go on a bona fide rant, you might as well be talking about the right person. It is bad enough to have to sort through the information that does come along.
In addition, it is only decent to extend condolences to the family of CFO Roy Shatzko.
By the way, do any of you know whether he is related in any way to Paul Shatzko who was the founder of Mountain Province Diamonds? From what I can tell Paul Shatzko is still active in some companies in the Mining Sector. From my notes, I believe it was Paul Shatzko along with two ex-Homestake Mining people by the name of Bending and Bachman that set up the diamond play in the Paranatinga area of Brazil in the first place. My notes said that they were going to drill it in
August (of 2003). Now that is reaching a ways back in time....
Over 6.5 years ago....Certainly, this may be the reason for the bitterness that shows up on this BB more often than not. I also seem to recall that well known promoter, Bruce MacDonald (Spell??)was rumoured to have been involved with Iciena at some point and then faded from the scene for some reason or another. Perhaps, this didn't get going because of the uncertainty surrounding Paul's health...first he got sick, then it looked like he had recovered and now he is gone. For those close in I would expect that contingency plans were drawn up once it was recognized that his health was deteriorating.
However, all that aside, I see that the volume was 1.07 Million shares in 29 trades today. ONE of those trades was a CROSS done by Broker #33 for 500,000 shares. Otherwise, Anonymous was active on the BUY and SELL side. It may get more active and move ahead once Tax Loss selling season subsides.
Hopefully, we can get past all this (whateveritis) and get on to doing what they said they would do in August, 2003...and put the $$$ to doing that and that is....f'n DRILL already!!!!
I am surprised that Dr. CF hasn't lost his patience and just said ..."Listen, Enough already...Let me do it!!!!"...Only not in so many polite words.
