Serge Savard Chairman of the BoardMr. Savard has been interviewed on Canoe TV in french. It is clear in his mind that MDN will try to get the Anita project on his rails. He talked about the nomination of a new CEO and they will try to get one asap. So a new page will be written in 2010. Patience is the name of the game.I see 2 things that can give shreholders value in 2010: the progress of the Anita project and the exploration of Isambara. For those who don't understand,it takes 7 to 10 years between a discovery and the first pour of gold. But the big money is often made between the two... and sooner than later. A good example: Nevsun: when they pubblished the report on reserves for their discovery in Erytrea, the stock went ballistic from 2 to 9 bucks inside 3 months to 4 months; it was in 2004. The mine will start in 2011 and the stock is still at 3 dollars. Same thing with Pangea and Tulawaka in 2000. Pangea went from under 2 bucks to 7 bucks inside a year. The mine started 5 years later in 2005.
So the years ahead can reward the patient shareholders.
Happy Holidays, Pierre013
