Wind Mobile has only 18 outlets in the whole country who have no experience so far in selling wireless phones in the past. Employees need complete training and knowledge of Industry to cope up with the competition and their product knowledge is a must. No time left for advertisement during final days of holiday season. Glentel Retail has historically the best 4th quarter with 278 locations, trained staff, choice of careers and product lines.

Only Business Centers suck. Trained, experienced, professionally qualified staff has already left and joined the competition. It is very difficult to get them back now. Damage is already done. Richard is doing his best by travelling,lecturing staff, organizing customer appreciation, wine and cheese for the first time in the history of business centers etc. Splitting business centers in to east and west will help but no technically proficient person is now available in the west. They are having really hard time to recruit Technical solutions Manager. Project head is still JMD's inner circle man, who has no technical expertise in evaluating big projects. Charles is basically a sales person . Getting a project is one thing , delivering/ implementing/making profit is other. Appointing Charles to the National bid team is a mistake as he was equally responsible and accountable for this brain drain because of his attitude and closeness to Jean Marie Dallaire.
Hope Richard is successful. i have no hope that business centers will turn table around within couple of years. They are still flogging legacy push to talk release to listen voice system narrow band two way radios. New systems are VOIP and IP based that needs qualified people to understand, design and sell. Service and sales staff needs latest education and good salaries. Scope of project work needs to be precisely defined, written in to contract and delivered to keep customer happy. Just retailing boxes won't help. Hope Richard moves aggressively as he has been doing it in the past. Good Luck Richard
