RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: More GNG News OutI'd like to add my support to johnny22's point that many shareholders are happy with the way things are being done. Of course it's nice when it can happen sooner rather than later but it rarely works that way.
What some investors don't seem to understand is the trade-off between getting things done in a hurry as opposed to getting a maximum return for a particular investment. When time is given priority, value will be sacrificed and vice versa when return is given priority, time will be sacrificed.
The point to my comment is that not all investments have the same priorities. If you find yourself in one that doesn't fit with your priorities you would do well to move on to one that does. The stock exchanges are full of companies with different management styles and priorities. Pick the ones you agree with instead of trying to change the ones that don't.
For arm chair CEOs like Cadaval, it's probably clear to everyone but themselves that this company's management style isn't a fit for them...and when they're name dropping other companies they like better THAT'S A BIG CLUE they should move their money over there or similar ones and stop nauseating the rest of us with their constant complaining!!!
In Golden Goliath's case, it's Paul's management style that made the Uruachic Camp available to us. In addition, he's trying to get us the most possible value from the whole camp instead of selling or farming out large parts of it as unproven property to finance the exploration of only a small portion. I too think the definition of the properties has come a long way in the last year and a half. You can't always judge the progress of a company by it's share price. It's common for a large investor to short a stock to get in cheaper later on.
This is my first post in a long time but I've been invested in this company since 2001. I've seen a lot of ups and downs but I'm in it for the long haul and hopefully the big payoff at the end. It's speculation after all... but less and less so as things progress...
¡Feliz Navidad! everyone! and to all good health and a prosperous 2010!
