Consider this re dosing in phase 1

Consider this re dosing in phase 1

From the News Release

Medicago's bird flu vaccine protects ferrets 100%

'The results demonstrated that ferrets vaccinated with doses of 1.8 and 3.7 micrograms were fully protected when exposed to this lethal virus, while non-vaccinated animals did not survive.

Now consider the low dosing that was used in phase 1 on humans. 5, 10 or 20 micograms.

Now the average ferret weight is 3 lbs the average French Canadian? Anyway MDG dosage for human trials was 10 times less per weight than in the ferrets. That ratio becomes extreme when you look at what they hit the mice with.

VICAL testing was with 2 X 1000 micrograms
Protien Science 135 micrograms
As stated in the NR "FDA-approved H5N1 influenza vaccines in the United States require two 90-microgram doses, administered at least four weeks apart to achieve appropriate level of antibodies in 44 per cent of vaccinated individuals".

MDG injections at these low doses were at 21 days apart.

"Results at these lower dosage levels have not been reported for an H5N1 vaccine manufactured with a novel vaccine manufacturing technology,"

Phase 2 testing will use doses to optimize the immune response...then  we will get a clear picture of how good the immune response is.
