RE: RE: Just got a look at CQVGentlemen,
I am new to CVQ (as of this week) I have read all the press releases from over the last few months, and true, like most that day trade or have interest in holding long, I do my own DD. Now to read a post by “Warant” that says; “these boards have no influence on SP” I certainly hope you don’t believe this. You need to be conscious of the fact that there are many investors that obviously aren’t as intelligent as you, that have a hard time separating fact from fiction (not saying I do). People flood these boards looking for the inside scoop on the next best thing and are willing to invest their hard earned savings. You may not believe it, but it’s reality. With that being said; when a poster decides to either pump or bash a stock, that makes him/her a thief. And when someone is as obnoxious as “King Stan”, mixed with a misinformed investor losing his shirt or making a bad trade, obviously people are going to be pissed off. You say he is not here to defend himself… but really, are any of us?? You, like everyone else on here, knows that this is not the forum to bash, name call or pull each other’s pigtails. So quit the squabbling, and get back to CQV. I am not saying it’s just you, there are a number of posters that feel that everyone wants to read their verbal diarrhea. The more that is posted on here is going to render this site useless. I would ignore you, but for the most part, your posts are useful. ;)
Now CQV,
There have been a lot of talks about the drilling plans in the east of Canada and not much mention of their interests in Alberta. A previous poster mentioned that it takes at least 3 years after oil is found, to start pumping it out of the ground. If this is the case, what’s the hype? Until the next PR I think we can speculate all we want, though it’s not every day that a few ‘institutions’ or private investors, solely purchase a million plus shares each @ .07, when production is so far down the pipe. Does anyone have any insight on this, with a reputable source to back it up? Is the Natural Gas in Alberta creating the buzz?
Excuse my ignorance regarding oil drilling/production. I’m a software architect, not an oil man.
Cheers,
RR
