Granby Zone & misc.

Granby Zone & misc.Does anybody know much this zone yet? I was going through old news releases and they only did two holes there. One was cut short due to difficult drilling conditions and another was said to fairly replicate the results from prior drilling in 76. I may have missed some news. It is also my understanding that the current target area is South of the Granby zone. Does anyone know if any Granby holes are to be done this season?

This is quoting the '76 report about 12 holes the Granby drilling company did. The 240m hole done by Bard (BD-07-12) was 10m from the following hole which had high grade moly at near surface:

'Vertical percussion hole number M3 intersected 0.176% MoS2 over
36.6 m from a downhole depth of 24.4 m to 61.0 m (final hole depth) which included a higher grade
interval of 0.30% MoS2 over 18.3 m from 24.4 m to 42.7 m (ref. Assessment Report #6152)'

I haven't heard it from the horse's mouth yet, but curt2go on Dec. 14 posted the following from a convo with Eugene:

'He also reiterated that they had visible in the cores. They dont know they grade but visible none the less.'

I read through the old news reports (I was bored today!) and noticed that some of them mentioned visible moly.

Dec 19/07
'All of the above mentioned drill holes (13-20) encountered variable amounts of visible molybdenum throughout their
entire drill lengths, in particular drill holes BD-07-09, BD-07-13, BD-07-15, BD-07-16, BD-07-21 and BD-07-23
'

Anyways, what I found was that there was good correlation between the holes the news reports said had visible moly and MoS2 in the 0.1-0.15% range. So if Eugene wasn't being bombastic in his description (and I don't find he is at all) and he is being consistent (I find he always is) with old reports, then there is a good chance we'll see some notable assay results.

If Eugene weren't on holidays I'd take the Granby question to him. But I'm thinking I skipped something that maybe someone here could help fill it. It sounds promising and I feel like there must be more on it that I have missed.

Thanks and have a safe New Year.
