my initial assessment is that when one expands their product categories too much .......cannibilization inevitably will occur.  Does an individual really need all of the iphone, iMac, itablet, ipod, nano ?!?!?!?

I belileve in the long run, RIM has the right strategy in being focused on one thing.......and that is the optimal and secure data transmission of communicationd devices.  This will become apparent in months to come.  It's better for RIM to become a "master of one" instead of being a "jack of all trades"........
