A Look at Lalor

A Look at LalorDo yourself a favour and take a long hard look at this plan of drilling at Lalor:

The drill hole deviation is incredible, but that is what you get when you are drilling +1km deep!  You will see that the drill traces cross the target area all over, but at incorrect depths.  The target depth is indicated by a red circle (mineralized) or orange square (no mineralization).  All the orange squares are outside the target area, so this is why they use wedge drilling.

HBM's secret to success involves their wedge drill holes (holes off of existing holes).  The trick is to drill down in the general area, and then do an EM probe down the hole to locate where the conductors (conductive due to metal content) are at depth .  Once a conductor is located then they drill a wedge hole from the inside of the existing drill hole towards the conductor.  This is good because they don't have to start drilling from the surface, which would otherwise take a very long time, and could result in another miss.

You'll notice the wedge hole being drilled off of DUB265 is targeting a STRONG CONDUCTOR.  You will also notice this method was successful in drill wedges DUB263W2, 3 & 5, which intersected ~30 meter intervals of high grade gold and copper with other metal credits.

If they hit a significant intersection in the drill wedge at DUB265, then they will have extended the mineralization over a strike length of another ~120 meters, which is huge, and it will remain open to the north.  Watch for a massive pop if they hit on this wedge hole.  If they don't hit, well at least they are a cashed up producer with great exploration properties.
