Is Boeing loosing its Reputation? Re: 60 Minutes

Is Boeing loosing its Reputation? Re: 60 MinutesSunday Evening's show of 60 Minutes (Jan. 10, 2010) certainly didn't portray a good image of Boeing.  There is a contract with Boeing to develop a security fence line separating Mexico and the United States.  Promises by Boeing to achieve quick delivery has turned out as a failure. The completion is pass due with only a few thousand feet completed compared to miles of security fencing on the contract.  It appears the total cost to date is approx. $1 billion with outdated technology of securtiy monitors mounted on fabricated towers.  Apparently the electronic equipment used can be purchased off the shelf from low base suppliers.  No wonder Boeing has delays in building their new dream aircrafts.
Oh! I should have guessed: it is a defence contract.
