Re: Back in (Cove)It is my belief that Newmont's back in clause will in no way hurt us, they will gain controlling interest (51%) but I think that the market has already 'priced it in' as the information has long been available. According to the clause Newmont will have to pony up 250% of the expenditures incurred on the property from the start (june 15 2006). We've spent $10MM on cove so far, that will mean Newmont will have to spend at least $25MM and we will just get to sit back and reap the rewards... let a major do all the work and spend all the money... hehe, got to like that!
