Shopping - Telus - Fully valued markets

Shopping - Telus - Fully valued marketsNobody is supposed to like Telus but at first glance it looks like good value.  Yield is 5.6% relative to BCE's 5.8%.  Telus' ratios (pay-out, price to cash flow, etc.) look much better.

The S&P/TSX Capped composite index is trading at 25 times trailing earnings.  [Wow!?!!]   The S&P/TSX Capped Telecommunications services sector index is trading at 14.2 times earnings which is much more reasonable but not low.

Two questions:  1)  Is Telus a good buy to round out the Canadian telcomm basket?  2) (a) Buy now or wait for the broader market correction?  2 (b)  Buy a little now and wait for the broader market correction to buy more?
