My take on thingslLast chapter
,Mongolia wants Russians to develop the mine.Russia will put up all the Money and Mongolia will collect half the profit without putting up a dime.
Problem is Kahn in the way,how do they solve it, Squeeze KRI till the blood comes out of the finger tips (license withdrawal, impossible conditions under new mining acts etc.)expropriation is risky as they don't want to scare off international investment money and stress relations with Canada,so what to do?
Mongolia tells Russians to do this smoothly Pay enough money to make Kahn investors happy so they go ahead an offer 65 cents, they know it is not enough but meanwhile the Mongs are squeezing KRI and softening up the stock holders KRI .It is a Poker game with out rules or they make up the rules as they go along.
What next?
A offer that is higher, yes, but how high,I don't know.I hope they will come up to a Dollar,we will soon find out.
I think they did that to western prospecter and in the end they have made the Chinese and the Russians happy and cash in on their financial strength and expertise.Sly foxes those Mongolians.
Of course there is the slight chance that they want to keep the Canadians in for various reasons like international realations and mining expertise etc.
