Take it easy.....The compound works. 10 subjects in the placebo group dropped out of the study. That is 33% of the placebo group. They dropped out because they had no effect and realized they got the placebo. Three of that ten went on to have surgery. They are not represented in the placebo average of 5.8 if we added them back in with a zero change the average for the placebo group would have been 3.4 not 5.8. The fact that they dropped out skewed the average and made the compound look worse than it actually was. (would have been a 5.7 point spread verses a 3.3 point spread). The 6 mount data will be coming out and those numbers should show a major improvement because the effects of the drug improves over time as the placebo will drop over time.
