RE: Comments on pps fixed priceFrom my limited experiences in seeing several resource juniors getting bought out this style of trading pattern is normal if no one thinks a superior offer is coming. Two that come to mind are Goldbelt and Petaquilla Copper.
When Miramar got taken out by Newmont the market traded at a premium to the offer for a while as apparently a number of people thought someone else was going to come in and bid. Were these people trading their own accounts, or possibly several brokers suckering their high flying risk taker clients while pinching them for a few extra cents and selling out the back door? Probably both. Someone lost some money getting aggressive in that case.
Someone bought some at .29 on the 14th. Those buying at .295 obviously see no risk.
