Does Less Speculative Mean Increased or Decreased
Does Less Speculative Mean Increased or DecreasedGiven that DM was sold at a value of $2.00 per share, which is approximately the price which it was trading at prior to the news announcement, has a lot of its upside been lost because there is now no longer any competition to buy it out. Would it have been better for DM to have waited until news has been announced about whether or not POM will receive permits. I keep thinking that there is a similarity with Lakeshore Gold. The fact that it is already 40% owned by a major has created a drag on the stock price. Is this the best deal that DM could have achieved and does it have more upside or less upside now that it is less speculative because of the deal with a major. How does this deal compare with the deal which Ivanhoe struck with Rio Tinto. I am trying to understand if this deal will provide a boost to the share price going forward or if it will be a drag. I wonder who got the better deal , DM or its purchaser.
