Re: A Little Perspective

Re: A Little PerspectiveIs the upside which you see in DM in the long term or in the short term, and what do you mean by long and short term in terms of days, months, years?  I was surprised by the announcement as I had expected that the next news would have been about permits.  I am confused about the comments regarding a bidding war for Voisey's Bay.  Is it being suggested that there will still be a bidding war over DM, or does this buyout preclude that possibility.  I keep wondering if this is a done deal, or if there is any possibility of share holders not approving it?  Has a vote date been set?  Could the terms possibly be improved.  I listened to the conference call and one caller seemed to infer that there was some issue as to how the metals were being valued (something to do with which exchange is being use)and seemed to infer that DM got the short end of the stick.  Did anyone else get this impression.  Perhaps they could expand upon this better than I can.  It just seems to me that DM has been sold before any of the other majors have had a chance to bid on it.B
