Stockscout. I am not advocating that the polluting of our earth has not got a great deal to do with climate change. As I have clearly stated, I am a firm believer that it is.
I also strongly advocate that regardless, it is filling our air and soil with contaminates dangerous to earth's, hence our well being and that of all living matter.

One only has to possess limited common sense to grasp the reality of it as is the reality of oil and gas running out, regardless of when.
What I am saying is that there has been climate change since creation and there is evidence that we have gone through periods of warmer climate long before the highs of fossil burning. Why are there oil fields in the Arctic e.g.? Of course there are changes on the axis of earth as well. These last few decades are not, for instance, the hottest temperatures since the records began. 2008 temperatures were surpassed in the 1920's eg.
Glaciers have come and gone but evidence has definitely shown that it is escalated at a frightening rate. The study of cores from glaciers can easily prove that going back over thousands of years. That is undeniable. That is so accurate that traces of DDT falling from the atmosphere have been found in the cores of the glaciers dating to the years of wide use. Glaciers are a wealth of information of the years of climate change and atmosphere poisoning.
However, my belief is that there is another factor, that of the one thing that influences our lives more than anything else, the actions of the sun which changes regularly in cycles and studies now being done, indicate that some of our centuries old historical climate changes may also have been caused by the solar activity.
The studies are very recent and the science new as far as modern data by the likes of NASA. Along with human influence, my belief is that solar influence is responsible for climate change.
Known as Deep Solar Minimum (Google search can keep you busy for days). We are in one now and some scientists are predicting we are headed into a cooling period.

For instance, temperature readings over the past decade shows that our recent high temperatures are not the highest. The fact that many temperature readings have been taken from major cities around the world over decades can be inaccurate for reasons that as cities grow, of course the temperature rises due to the population and burning of fossil fuels within those cities increasing, thus giving a warming trend. I have always found for instance that the highest temperatures recorded consistently in Toronto by my car thermometer was at the Don Valley and Yonge St. on the 401 probably due to the heavey traffic and pavement concentration. Several degrees higher than the surrounding temperatures. Inaccurate of Toronto's temperatures due to external influences.
My belief is that fossil fuels and chemicals spewed into the atmosphere are changing our climates along with the natural ongoing cycles of the sun's effect on earth.
In other words, throwing gasoline onto the fire of sun spots, magnetic fields and solar winds.
Somewhat scary is the sun spot activity and changes in our magnetic fields. An indication of it's influence is the setting of fires in telegraphic equipment in the 1850's. Scientists believe we may be heading to another incident in 2015 where Trillions of dollars of damage and infrustructure causing chaos will occur due to solar sun spots and resulting changes in the magnetic field damaging electronic components.

Warning: Reading these articles will become addictive in your search for truth. Very thought provoking but one can only come to a somewhat logical conclusion for themselves by examing all science available. Scientists on both sides of the arguments can be self serving and like in a court room, you don't reach any kind of conclusion before examing all supposed facts presented by both sides.
Experts on both sides will always have self interests in an attempt to persuade the outcome. I think the recent exposed emails of the climate change proponents have shown this amply. That is unfortunate because it damages their position and corrupts the existing truth. It gave the opposition a feeding frenzy.Unforgivable for scientists.
My own belief is that the truth lies somewhere in between. Both are valid and co-existent.
Again, though, the poisoning of our earth by spewing fossil fuel chemicals and other chemicals must stop!
