To regain proper value will take time and more work , of some sort. No way can they get the shareprice up to a healthy level for a buyout, at this point in time. There are always negotiations happening in the background, especially at this stage of a play with biggies like Newmont, Rio and BHP in the mix. I will be happy if Ken and Shore are able to secure the best price possible for my shares but there is way too much uncertainty about the future. Clarification on Newmont's stance will help , to some degree. But if Shore and Newmont can't agree to a re-balancing price for the Star then it's status quo.
I guess I'd like some clarification about where we're at, where we're going and how long it will take. And this from an official source in an official manner , rather than having to rely on a bullboard and people phoning IR or talking to the IR guy at a dog and pony show. That is hardly professional and I believe we shareholders deserve proper respect on this issue.
