9 $ per Watt Vs Paralaxvery interesting.. this is one of the first tenders under the Ontario FIT program, and I am thrilled to see this kind of activity, and i am sure that plently of more to come.

What absolutely blows my mind is that one of the bidders on this project spec out their system at 9$ per watt. WOW! That was pricing for solar in prior to the recession..

1) Ontario installers DO NOT know what they are doing
2) Many people will be screwed of their hard earning money, including tax payers money
3) STG and Paralex should be able to clean house at 6bucks per watt.

I almost puked when I seen the bidder.. I am seriuos.. i almost puked at work, on my desk.. 9$ per watt. WOW

So if this is the general trend of Ontario installers, then I can see why Jacobs is buying like crazy.. because no one else knows how to install solar
