RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Time for a wake up callAp, this thing is way too big to get shelved but it is complicated unlike the NWT diamond kimberlites. I have no doubt that the major mining companies talk to Shore behind closed doors all the time. We see their jets coming into Saskatoon all the time. Now there is a BHP office in Saskatoon as well. One of the biggest problems has been Newmont's quiet . It's been 5 years since they came in and the excitement generated by that is long gone. In the absence of anything positive on their part ( like re-balancing the Star kimberlite ) the excitement has turned to worry exacerbated by the economic crash. Do we believe Newmont's public statements about FALC?
If we can't shake Newmont and wake them up it's time to bring in a diamond major that will. The appearance of a Rio Tinto or BHP will re-focus attention on the play and re-create some excitement that will be reflected in the share price. And an updated 43-101 Reserve Estimate for the Star and Orion South should also help a lot, assuming the internal rate of return improves 20-30% with the addition of Orion south. We're also long overdue for some sense of the direction of this play.
