RE: Silverjack Hole #1To put our Silverjack intersection and grades in perspective, I've been doing some research to see how they compare with some existing silver/base metal vein deposits. Please see below.
Silverjack assays to date:
5.4 metre core interval grades up to 592 g/t silver (17.27 oz/ton), 1.95% copper, 7.39% zinc and 5.51% lead
Historic holes:
4m of 15.21 ozs. silver, 2.5% copper, 10.70 % zinc and 8.5% lead as well as
4.2m of 12.33 oz. silver, 2.66% copper, 5.2% zinc and 5.4% lead
Fortuna's Caylloma Silver Mine:
Category | Tonnes | Ag (g/t) | Au (g/t) | Pb (%) | Zn (%) | Cu (%) | Width (m) |
Proven Reserves | 3,701,420 | 136 | 0.55 | 1.80 | 2.74 | - | 3.17 |
Probable Reserves | 331,500 | 387 | 0.51 | 0.58 | 0.81 | - | 2.09 |
Proven + Probable Reserves | 4,032,920 | 156 | 0.55 | 1.70 | 2.58 | - | 3.08 |
Scorpio Mining's Mexican mine's zone has greater thickness but the average grades mined in Q3 were 1.30% lead, 0.44% copper, 2.47% zinc and 105 g/t silver Again, this is only meant as a comparison, and realizing that there are so far only 3 holes reported to the public, but both the grades (particularly) and the vein width stand up well when compared to existing mineable deposits, albeit in other countries. |
