RE: Here come the $ 50.00's

RE: Here come the $ 50.00's

I can see the strings of panic are setting in for the pumping crew.  If I were short, which I'm not, I would most likely be in money and sleeping very well thank you.  The statement you made could only be made by someone who is a little worried about the state of the TD share price going forward.

I first starting buying TD stock at $16 per share.

That statement simply doesn't wash.  When TD was $16/share is was an attractive investment.  TD was far more conservative and there were good prospects for growth.  Now there is absolutely NO prospect for growth.  You cannot compare the future prospects of TD bank 15 years ago and today.  Heck I traded TD quite sucessfully without reinvesting the dividend for years.

I fully support his (Ed Clark) bonus, he's earned it.  Within three years, this stock will split again.

Ahhhhhh, you fully support the Ed Clark bogus bonus.  Now as a shareholder how specifically has that helped us?   What initiatives did Mr. Clark spearhead to deserve such outrageous compensation on top of his exceptional salary?  Please be specific.  In a nutshell Ed Clark and the rest of the board screwed shareholders over royally by removed over 1 billion dollars out of the kitty and firmly placing it in their pockets.  What did the REAL owners of the bank get in return for this sickening compensation?  A declining share price ever since.  The only "thing" YOU support is a more robust share price and will not dare post anything that would jeopardize the SP going forward.  TD doesn't need shareholders like you.  TD DOES need shareholders who will hold management accountable.

I guess the best way to rob a bank is to have a job in senior management.  Senior management have been nothing but weapons of shareholder destruction.   GLTA
