RE: Shareholders' Rights
Welcome to the board! You can read posts backwards and get a sense of what has been going on since the trading halt.
As far as value, you may discover that the principals of the company and their 2 major shareholders own a majority of the shares (I can't tell you the number off the top of my head, but I am sure that Darbygirl can). One of those shareholders is also a major customer, so they have the advantage of knowing what is actually happening in their market (while us little guys don't.)
It seems to me (and I may be mistaken), that at least one of those 3 groups would have to be behind any effort to replace the BOD or management. The only likely one would be Northern Rivers. Although it's obvious that Cleland is suffering from some bruising to his reputation, he wasn't an initiator in the WEW situation.
I haven't followed the WEW situation to any extent. All I know is that they have double the outstanding shares of VSI. Not sure how many of those shares are/were controlled by board and management. Or if Northern Rivers has a sizeable chunk of share as with VSI. I'm sure that Darbygirl has the answer to that, too.
Anyway, if you read backward, you'll get a greater sense of what is happening.
