RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Pescott FollowupAhhhh, this famous term "fair value". It's one of the most idiotic terms used in business / the market as "fair value" is purely in the eye of the beholder. There is no firm deffinition unless you apply the term to a company with an operating history while discounting any "blue sky". Even then it's rather ambiguous. Read up on it:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair_value
Bottom line: You can't apply "fair value" to a company like AMZ at this point. It's fair game to apply a potential "future value" based largely on little but assumptions:
Drill results to date cover maybe 1/100's of the property
Mining and processing costs are unknown
Effectivness of the product is largely unknown even though there is some (rather old) hisorical research
Pricing of the finished product is unknown as it doesn't compare with "traditional" POT
In other words, we know very little. All we really know at this point ... We have a semi-proven resource and the people involved in this company are top notch and have the resumes to prove it..
Ergo, I look at the "fair market value" of the people involved and I'll leave it up to the experts to figure out the potential value of the resource. The conclusion I came to playing micro caps for 30 years. Was an expensive learning curve but it was worth it.
My weekend "gift". Like it, lump it or dump it.
Cheers
