RE: Rare metals..Who else mines them?

RE: Rare metals..Who else mines them?Just so you guys have some DD to do....

Ask yourself things questions..

Who else has a rare earth metals mine and how much of the world supply comes from China ?
You will be surprised......VERY VERY Surprised!!

What is the Official Chinese stance on supplying the world with over 95% of the Rare Earth Metals ?
Not going to keep supplying the rest of the world much longer ....Officially.

Where is the next mine coming from ??? You will be surprised here as well.
Not too much competition at the present time.

What has kept the rest of the world from mining for the metals if there is so much money in it?
Some have tried to reopen but they need huge dollars invested.
Unitl just a little while ago it was not a great money making venture...AWWW! now it is BUT
!

But it will cost a lot to reopen the old mines. A whole new industry has to be built. Mountain Pass in the US was reopened in 2007, but will only reach full production sometime this year. In Australia, the Mount Weld mine is expected to produce rare earth metals on a large scale from this year. But last year the company that owns it sold 51.6 percent of its shares to a Chinese company in exchange for cash and debt financing.

Here is the light reading for you guys........................This could be interesting IF!!!!

The search for rare earth metals is a global race.
