RE: RE: tfsaI'm with CIBC too... but I can't do it on line because I am doing it for both myself and my husband.  All the stock is in my name in my trading account so it is a 5 minute trip to the bank to get them to put 35,000 shares in each account.  We did the TFSA last year but I had no idea that I could transfer my stock into it... we just put 5,000 a piece in and let CIBC do the investing.  I got off the phone with my accountant this morning and found out what I have to pay in taxes for my investment gains this year and have been kicking myself ever since for not looking into the TFSA transfer. I'm not going to make that mistake again this year.
