Gennum at the 2010 Olympics

Gennum at the 2010 OlympicsI understand that Gennum's technology will be used at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics.

Does anyone have details??

From Ottawa Citizen Sept/09

For a company that has just been through more than its share of reverses, things are suddenly looking up for Gennum Corp., a Burlington company with Ottawa operations. The big reason is high-definition broadcast technology. With the Winter Olympics, World Cup and other major events on the horizon, broadcasters are upgrading equipment rapidly, even if advertising revenues are still in recession.
Gennum makes the fast chips that deliver high-definition images better than competitors: ESPN converted this spring and the BBC is overhauling studio technology. Gennum wowed analysts with claims that it has 50 per cent of a $100-million market. The product has jumped to 12 per cent of all company revenue from almost nothing a year ago.
