VANCOUVER,BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Jan. 26, 2010) - North American GemInc. (TSX VENTURE:NAG) (NAG) is pleased to announce the engagement ofMs. Deborah Moses, a Professional Engineer, with the support ofEngineering Consulting Services, Inc. (ECSI) to provide engineeringservices for the Company's coal operations in Kentucky and WestVirginia.

Ms.Deborah Moses serves as Director, South East Region of ECSI. Shemanages ECSI's Corbin office as well as coordinates mining,environmental, and surveying projects throughout the southern part ofthe state. Her areas of expertise include reserve analysis,environmental audits, and unmined mineral tax issues. Ms. Moses is alicensed Professional Engineer (PE), a licensed Professional LandSurveyor (PLS), and a Registered Environmental Manager (REM) with theNational Registry of Environmental Professionals. Engineering Licenses:KY#16187, TN #021889 Land Surveying Licenses: KY#2880 RegisteredEnvironmental Manager #08695.

Under the agreement, Ms. Deborah Moses will provide the following consulting services:

1. Engineering services as needed.

2. Evaluation of coal leases for the purpose of determining development potential.

3. Preparation of mine permit applications and mine plans.

Ms.Deborah Moses serves as Manager of Administrative Programs, PropertyAnalyst, and Supervisor for Technical Support Services for TECO CoalCorporation in Corbin, Kentucky. She coordinated company recordsmanagement program, calculated reserves based on quality and quantityfor potential mining areas, assisted with filing annual 10-k reports tothe Securities and Exchange Commission, performed inter-companyenvironmental audits, oversaw submittal of unmined mineral taxinformation for all TECO Coal companies, administered mining andtrucking contracts, was involved in all major mapping projects andproperty acquisitions, and served as an expert witness when necessary.

Ms.Deborah Moses also served as the Mining Engineer for Gatliff CoalCompany in Corbin, Kentucky. She completed surface and undergroundsurveying, performed underground time studies, served as projectengineer for design and construction of refuse disposal facility, andwas responsible for surface and underground mine planning andpermitting, and served as CAD coordinator.

NorthAmerican Gem Inc. (TSX VENTURE:NAG) is a Junior Exploration Companybased in Western Canada. The Company's primary goal is to explore forCoal in North America, currently the focus is in Kentucky,Saskatchewan, and West Virginia. In addition to Coal exploration, theCompany also has interests in Uranium, Copper, Gold, Molybdenum andother base metals in Canada.
