RE: MTO Warrants

RE: MTO WarrantsYour second post was a bit weird. If you are going to be that sensitive then these boards will be a nightmare for you. This board is nothing compared to most I read.
At any rate, with regard to the warrants, I do own some and watch them rather closely to buy some more. I don't know how to value them though I have tried to learn how to value warrants--with little success. The other poster may have a system that is correct mathematically, but in the end, they are worth what they are being bought at. The "intrinsic" value is at best a guide. In most cases, following the intrinsic rule will mean you never buy anything. Not saying it is not a valuable tool, just not the answer to "what they are worth" in a true market sense. So, the warrants on MTO had traded for quite awhile at 50% of the common shares. They bounced between ranges as you indicated, but generally were in that range. Lately they have been selling for less than that, but the volume is so little that you cannot really get in with any meaningful number of shares. That is the problem. There is not a lot of selling, and the ones for sale are often higher than the 50% value (at least enough of them to make it worthwhile, ie. IMO, 10,000 or more). And the danger of putting up a bid is that you get hit with that 500 share block that isn't worth it when you consider the cost of the trade.
