There are monthly payments made to the sign carriers and blockaders in almost all of the smaller southern miners. The police and army usually have a piece of the action. That said, panama is corrupt but also has a free press and an intelligent and well funded environmental movement. I am sure that we will be closely monitored by both groups. Also good to remember the history of the area. Much gold has been taken from that part of panama for a long time and will continue to be taken. AIMHO  GLTA
