RE: RE: Nick Kyprianou

RE: RE: Nick KyprianouYes - Think of the time frame.  It has taken Home Capital 15 years to reach it's current plateau. Other thoughts have occured to me.  Did Nick approach the big banks to launch into the alternative mortgage business and was rejected? Is the answer to this question the reason why no takeover bid has come forward for this remarkable company?   Why didn't Exceed Mortgage Co or Equitable Trust grab Nick up?  Is Nick technically and perhaps administratively very strong but lacking the charisma for leadership?  While I expect that the law courts would permit Nick to continue working in this field,  has Home Cpital no way to prevent his use of particular areas of Home's business secrets?

I expect Gerry will say nothing on this matter in the conference call next week unless the analysts press him to predict the consequences of Nick's move to GHC  on HCG.  His legal advisors may direct Gerry to say nothing that could prejudice any legal steps to minimize the effect of any legal action taken against Nick in the future.
