In my opinion there are a few political items that are holding Vast and other E&P’s in the region down. Until the elections are complete and the oil revenue issue is resolved it will be difficult for any money to be made and no one will bring oil to market if they are not going to get paid and right now that is the big issue of contention. The wild card is Iran and the whack job running the country. If we all agree that WMD’s were not the only reason the US invaded Iraq and the other goal was access to all the oil reserves, wouldn’t that be a convenient place for Ahmadinejad to cause problems?? I hope not but that card has to be considered to be on the table.
