I have to take issue with this answer because  the data feed comes from the TSX  but stop loss orders are not placed on the market until they are triggered hense they rarely fill at the exact  stop loss number unless they  are a limit order .  I am sure brokers in your own trading house can see them and who knows how they get paid if they happen to tip off a major player to their presence.   

For most of us here on these bull boards probably not an issue as we don't hold enough for the big boys to take notice.  

Level III  access is basically house  & market maker access that allows you to  place orders direct on the system the one advantage it does have is that I believe market makers can see short positions real time.
